Commercial Photographer

CASE STUDY: FLIGHT CENTRE

When Flight Centre rebranded its corporate travel division, I was commissioned to create a library of commercial photographs featuring the people behind the business. Rather than using professional models, the campaign showcased around thirty carefully selected staff, reflecting the professionalism and personal service that define the Flight Centre brand.

The assignment was completed in a single day at a hired location, with every portrait carefully planned to fit the campaign’s advertising layouts. Each image needed to leave room for headlines and graphic elements while maintaining a consistent style across the entire series.

Photographing people who don’t spend their working lives in front of a camera is about more than technical skill. Building rapport quickly, putting people at ease and capturing natural expressions were essential to producing authentic photographs while keeping the day running smoothly and on schedule.

The photographs were created for a variety of marketing applications, including large-format display graphics, so every image needed to meet demanding technical standards while remaining consistent with the campaign’s creative direction. Careful planning and post-production ensured the files were ready for production across every application.

Working within a tight deadline and budget, I delivered a complete library of campaign-ready images that supported Flight Centre’s new corporate identity.
