Growing up in a family of medical professionals gave me an early understanding of the healthcare environment. Combined with more than 25 years’ experience as a commercial photographer, I understand both the practical requirements of healthcare photography and the importance of working respectfully with patients, clinicians and staff. My experience includes photographing in operating theatres and other clinical environments where discretion, professionalism and minimal disruption are essential.
