CASE STUDY: SCHOOL PROMOTIONS

As competition from neighbouring schools increased, Chatswood High School developed a two-year marketing strategy to strengthen its profile within the local community. Professional photography formed an important part of that campaign.

I was commissioned to document the school community, creating authentic images of students, teachers and school life that could be used across a wide range of promotional material.

The campaign contributed to a significant turnaround. Enrolments increased by 15%, the school’s profile within the community improved, and the project was later recognised by the NSW Department of Education as an example for other schools, featuring in its regional annual report.

Following the project, NSW School Promotions Manager Rob Asser said:

Robert Edwards is the epitome of the modern professional photographer – thoughtful, creative, hard working and totally responsive to clients’ needs. Robert has had extensive experience in creating wonderful visual images for hundreds of schools who want to tell their story professionally to their community.
Schools wanting to develop a strong and persuasive visual portfolio for use in print and electronic media would benefit greatly by having Robert Edwards work with them to create a wonderful visual record for their school.
